Linda grew up in Minnesota and studied painting at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design and the University of Minnesota in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. After college, she worked as a graphic designer which led to a long and successful career designing museum and cultural exhibits.
Through working in museums and artists, her love of art continued. Linda says;
“Over the years my work in design has spanned a broad range of topics, including Painting, Craft, Contemporary Art, Women’s Issues, Science, Culture and Human Evolution. I see important connections and human relevancy that bind these subjects together.
My design career has instilled in me an energetic attitude of curiosity and wonder about our world. I’m interested in weaving those insights into my art and reflecting the connectedness of our lives to the natural world and each other.”
