Michael Matthews is a lifelong Annapolitan, Eastporter, and artist who started exhibiting his work in 2002 at the first Art Between the Creeks show.

He is a veteran of numerous group and individual shows including the "Image and Imagination" show at the Elizabeth Meyers Mitchell Gallery at St. Johns College. One of his works was selected for the Annapolis Arts Alliance, Art Works 2004 Bus Stops.

Michael attended the University of Maryland College Park and studied Advertising and Applied Design and is a graduate of Bowie State College with a BS in Advertising and Public Relations.
